Hamner Improv Troupe
The Hamner Improv Troupe is taking a summer break;
Improv will begin again Monday, August 31, at 5:30pm for hit and 6:30pm for HIT. See you then!
This mixed group of old hands and neophytes, under the able tutelage of Mary Coy, is meeting every Monday.
We have also started hit- open to ages 8years and up, hitters will meet Mondays for an hour with Mary Coy, and then spend an additional 20 - 30 minutes working with HIT. This program is free of charge and is intended for everyone with an interest in Improv.
We are not planning any performances before the fall so our upcoming sessions will focus on honing our storytelling skills and ingraining the three rules of improv: always say yes, say the first thing that comes into your head, and make your partner look good.
Mary Coy is a graduate of the Loose Moose International Improv School, and co-founder of The Improfessionals, Improvaganza and other local improv groups.
Call 434-361-1999 for additional information, or just come see what it's all about!
